Flatbread pizzas are one of our favorite meals for when everyone wants something different. Or when we are feeling super lazy or don't want a mealtime battle with the kids.
We start out with this basic flatbread pizza recipe using store bought flatbread. Then add toppings if we want. It's super easy to make! Pepperoni flatbreads, margherita pizza flatbreads and feta spinach flatbreads are a few of our favorites.
Pizza Topping Suggestions

- Roasted garlic
- Pepperoni slices

Ingredients
All you need is flatbread, pizza sauce, and mozzarella cheese. You can bake it in the air fryer for about 5 minutes or an oven for 10 minutes, preferably on a pizza stone.
Step-By-Step Directions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, leaving a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to warm up. Placing the uncooked flatbread on a preheated pan gives you a nice crispy crust when it's done. If you're air frying your pizza, skip the preheat unless your air fryer requires you to preheat it.
- Spread the pizza sauce on the flatbread and evenly sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with a small amount of parmesan cheese, if desired.
- Put the pizza on the stone in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. You should have a bubbly, golden brown layer of cheese when it's done. If air frying, cook for 4-5 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (or the highest temperature your air fryer goes to).

Enjoy!
