Make the holiday's merrier with our Kid-Friendly Christmas Charcuterie Board! This is fun and colorful holiday grazing board idea that's perfect for parties, playdates, or family movie nights. This board comes together in about 15 minutes with kid-friendly foods in festive red, green, and white. We make it a tradition to have this as part of our Christmas Eve party.
It's easy to assemble while Christmas dinner is cooking. Every ingredient is store bought so there's no extra cooking involved. While this board was designed with kids in mind, it can easily be adapted for adults with a few simple swaps.
We love creating festive charcuterie boards for parties and holidays. For Thanksgiving we make a cute turkey-shaped snack board, Easter comes with an Easter Bunny platter and for winter gatherings we love putting together this snowman hot chocolate board!

Equipment Needed

Kristina's Tips
- Prep ahead: Wash and cut ingredients before guests arrive.
- Balance health & fun: Pair fruit and cheese with a few holiday sweets.
- Use color strategically: Group similar colors together for a festive look.
- Add texture: Mix crunchy crackers with soft fruits and cheese to keep kids engaged.
- One of the best parts about Christmas snack boards is that kids can help make them. Younger children can fill bowls with nuts or candies, teens can slice fruits and veggies, and older kids can arrange the food on the board.

How To Assemble

- Place bowls first: Use small bowls for candies and smaller items - anchor them at opposite corners. Fill the bowls.
- Add larger items: Arrange meats, cheeses, and larger fruits around the board.
- Fill in gaps: Add grapes, berries, candies, and veggies - keep colors grouped for maximum festive impact.
- Super cute final touches: Add holiday ornaments or cookie-cutter shapes (stars, trees) for extra charm.

Variations
- Holiday Shapes: Use cookie cutters to make cheese and fruit shapes like stars, trees, and snowflakes. Christmas tree brownies are a cute addition to a board too.
- Healthy Boost: Try dips like ranch or yogurt for veggies and fruit.
- Themed Boards: Create a Christmas tree layout or North Pole scene. This is great for parties and Instagram photos!
