If you're looking for an easy fun Easter dessert recipe that involves no baking and not a lot of time, then you'll love our Chocolate Covered Easter Strawberries. You need only 3 ingredients and a few minutes of time to melt the coating, then this healthier Easter treat is ready to eat!
They're great to leave out as Easter Bunny treats for that hard-working, up-all-night bunny. Or add them to an Easter dessert board to counter all the sweetness.
We are not big on a fancy Easter dinner. For us it's about the dessert. These "carrot" strawberries are something we try to make every year. They make a lovely addition to the dessert table, along with Easter egg hunt pudding cups, no-bake cheesecake bunny tails, and mini egg rice krispie treats!

Kristina's Tips
- Choose strawberries that are long and narrow or gradually get fatter at the tops so they look like real carrots.
- Choose strawberries with plentiful green stems.
- Reheat the candy melt if it begins to harden before you finish covering all strawberries.
Ingredients
You only need 3 ingredients to make your strawberry carrots.
- Fresh strawberries
- White candy melts + orange food coloring
- Crushed Oreos (optional)
Instead of the candy melts and food coloring you can use orange candy melts or white chocolate chips and orange food coloring.

Instructions
Strawberry carrots take no more than 15 minutes, if that, to make.
- Start by rinsing your strawberries. Pat dry with a paper towel.
- Heat your candy melts in the microwave in 30 seconds intervals until melted.
- Add the food coloring and stir. You can add more if you want a deeper orange color.
- Dip each strawberry in the melted candy and place it on a plate to harden. To speed up the process, you can place the strawberries in the fridge for 15 minutes.
- Serve on a plate with the crushed Oreos to make them look like a carrot patch. Enjoy!
