These homemade 3-Ingredient Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles are made with mangoes, strawberries or your favorite fruit. They're gluten-free, delicious and refreshing on a hot summer's day.
Our popsicles are so sweet and delicious- better and healthier than any store bought popsicles. You can take this recipe and customize it with your favorite fruit, make it dairy free or even make it vegan. Check out my tips at the end for how to do this easily.
My girls love taking this recipe and customizing it to create their "own" batch. Along with these mango popsicles, we can't get enough of pineapple coconut popsicles and no churn cinnamon ice cream. Mango milkshakes, frozen Nutella banana bites, s'mores pie and strawberry crunch cupcakes are some more of our favorite summer treats.

Ingredients and Equipment Needed
For the popsicles you need:
- Frozen mango chunks: or other frozen fruit
- Yogurt: Greek or traditional plain or vanilla flavored yogurt all work, so use whichever you prefer. We make homemade yogurt. Make them dairy free by using coconut milk or almond milk. For lactose sensitivity, a lactose-free yogurt can be used. I need to make a dairy-free batch for my lactose sensitive daughter and use these yogurts interchangeably. Her favorite is coconut milk yogurt!
- Honey: this recipe uses just a little bit of honey, but you can leave it out if you'd like.
You'll also need these tools when making homemade popsicles:
- Blender: You don't need a special blender to make homemade popsicles. Any traditional blender will do.
- Popsicle molds: these silicone molds are my favorite. The popsicles easily slide out and they come with a cover and hole to keep the wooden stick in place.
- Popsicle sticks: many molds come with sticks, but it's always good to have extra on hand if you make a lot of popsicles.

Should I Use Fresh Fruit or Frozen Fruit?
You can use either, but it's so much easier to use frozen mango chunks. That way you can just scoop them out of the bag and dump them into the blender.
Can I Make Homemade Popsicles Without A Popsicle Mold?
Yes, you can make these if you don't have popsicle molds so don't let that deter you! Use mini muffin tins, mini loaf pans, ice cube trays, or paper cups. You will still need popsicle sticks to do this.
How Many Popsicles Does This Recipe Yield?
This recipe yields 6 ten ounce popsicles.
How To Make Homemade Popsicles
Making mango popsicles is so easy!
- Add the fruit chunks, yogurt and honey to the blender.
- Blend until smooth on high speed, roughly 60-90 seconds depending on the strength of your blender. The blended mixture will look thick and creamy but will be pourable.
- Pour the popsicle mixture into the popsicle molds and insert the popsicle sticks.
- Freeze for 6-8 hours, preferably overnight.

Kristina's Tip
Popsicles can melt quickly on extra hot summer days. Have a bowl and a spoon on standby, to catch any chunks of melting popsicle and enjoy it out of the bowl instead.
Variations
What I love about making homemade popsicles is that they are so easy to customize. The flavor options are endless! Here are some great suggestions to vary up these mango popsicles.
- Use fresh mango instead of frozen mango chunks. This will require cutting though, and younger kids likely won't be able to do that safely on their own.
- Use a different fruit. Instead of the mango, try strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, pineapple, or papaya. They all make delicious refreshing popsicles!
- Use more than 1 fruit. Make your popsicles with a combination of 2 or 3 fruits. Strawberry mango, pineapple mango, and mixed berry are some options.
- Make them dairy-free. Make these dairy free by using coconut milk yogurt, almond milk yogurt or lactose-free yogurt.
- Make them vegan. Use coconut milk or almond milk yogurt and replace the honey with maple syrup (or leave it out entirely).
- Make ice cream. Instead of making popsicles, pour the mango yogurt mixture into an ice cream container and eat like frozen yogurt from your favorite ice cream shop!
- Add a squeeze of lime juice to brighten the flavor even more.
How To Store
Keep popsicles in their mold in the freezer until ready to eat. You can also buy plastic popsicle freezer bags if you'd prefer to store them like this. Using the bags is great for saving freezer space or if you need to use your mold before you've eaten all the popsicles.
