Prepare the 1.5 lbs chicken tenderloins by trimming away the fat. Put chicken in a large bowl or plastic baggie. Season chicken with salt and black pepper as desired. Add ⅔ cup teriyaki sauce and toss to coat the chicken. Marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.
Place the marinated chicken tenderloins in the air fryer basket or tray. Air fry at 375°F for 12-14 minutes (until a digital thermometer reads an internal temperature of 165℉). Flip chicken halfway through cooking and baste each side with additional sauce.
Remove chicken from the air fryer and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced scallions if desired.

Storing: Keep air fried teriyaki chicken tenders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Freezing: Store in freezer safe bags for up to 6 months. Make It A Full Dinner:To make a full meal, toss 2 cups chopped broccoli and ½ cup sliced carrots with olive oil, then add to the air fryer during the last 6 minutes of cooking time. If your air fryer is not large enough, air fry the broccoli and carrots for 6 minutes once the chicken is done.
