Notes
Storing: Store homemade pizza sauce in a covered container in the fridge for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months. Defrost in the microwave, overnight in the fridge or for a few hours at room temperature.Tip 1: Sugar helps to neutralize the acidity of the tomatoes, but it is not absolutely necessary. Before adding the sugar taste the sauce to determine if it's too acidic for you and then add the sugar if desired.Tip 2: Love a spicy sauce? Add a teaspoon or so of red pepper flakes.
