- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry or instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 tsp thyme
- ¼ cup parmesan
- 1 cup grated brie
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
In a small saucepan, heat the water and yogurt until steaming, stirring occasionally. Let cool for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, crush the cranberries until they pop or run through a food processor to chop them more finely.
In the order your bread machine requires, add all ingredients. For Cuisinart Bread Makers add ingredients to the bread machine in this order: water/yogurt, flour, salt, sugar, yeast, thyme, rosemary, parmesan, brie, cranberries.
Set to function 1 for basic white bread. Select 1.5 lb loaf size and choose your crust color. Select start. If baking in the oven, set to the dough function and when finished, bake at 350° for 45 minutes. During the last 15 minutes, top with extra brie if desired.
When bread is done, transfer to a wire cooling rack. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
